Actively Participate in the Educational Process

Your Student

• Ask your child about their day/what they’re learning.
• Encourage/support homework completion.
• Read to/with them.
• Schedule parent-teacher conferences/calls.
• Check progress reports & report cards.
• Stay informed with school emails.
• Have lunch with your child.

Their Class

• Read with students.
• Help with class activities.
• Chaperone field trips (must be an approved volunteer).
• Help teachers with material sorting/prep.

Our School

• Join the PTCO.
• Volunteer at school events.
• Organize the clothing closet.
• Help with staff appreciation lunches.
• Book Fair
• Media Center / Book check-in/out
• Garden Club
• Wednesday clubs
